This canvas starts with layers of dictionary pages glued on to the canvas and layers of paint added and then taken away to show the dictionary pages behind it and to give that lovely grungy effect. I found this ugly brown and yellow flower basket in treasure hunting and saw the potiential it could have on a canvas and I love how it has turned out after I hand painted each and every flower.
